Learn English Through Topics. Sharing. Part 2. Speaking. Sample Questions with Answers.
1. Do you like sharing things with other people?
Of course, I do. There is a saying: “Sharing is caring”. I believe that sharing would enhance the long-lasting relationship with other people. The enjoyment and endearing feeling of some milestones in our lives will be more valuable and memorable when we experience them with somebody by our side.
2. What things do you like to share with others?
Well, I can share almost my everyday stuff with my family and friends, particularly food, clothes, books, and movies. Although they are just petty things, sharing brings people closer together. Besides, sharing  knowledge and experience is also of high importance, especially for those who are in need since it
may have significant impacts on their lives.
3. Did your parents teach you about sharing?
Definitely. Since I was a child, my parents always gave me guidance by setting examples and I picked up lessons on my own. They encouraged me to share things with underprivileged people, things as second-hand clothes, used sourcebooks, or old toys which gave me a tremendous sense of accomplishment. I feel really fulfilled when looking back on them.
4. Have you shared anything with others recently?
Yes! I thoroughly love sharing and making people happy. Recently, I just purchased an abundance of essential stationery items like pencil cases, pens, and notebooks. I gave some to my beloved students and also my best friends. They jumped for joy after receiving their gifts. Seeing their beautiful smiles and eyes light up could make anyone’s day.
5. What kind of things are not suitable for sharing with others?
Well, the first item that crosses my mind is a toothbrush or a toothpick. I mean it would be exceedingly unsanitary to share those items with anyone. As well as this, all your personal and private belongings such as your diary or your phone are obviously inappropriate to share because it invades your privacy.
6. What would you like to share with others in the future?
I would definitely love to share my knowledge, such as giving free English lessons to students from deprived and less fortunate backgrounds. I strongly believe in the saying “Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime”. That’s why I want to share necessary skills for others to help them turn their lives around.
7. Are you willing to share your favorite possessions?
Sure, I can share anything with people I can trust, including my parents, brothers and sisters, and close friends.
8. Do you think there will be car sharing in the future?
I’m sure there will be car sharing at some point and I’m sure at that point in time the reasons those people have for doing it will make good sense. I’m sure the trigger will be the upcoming apocalypse brought on by climate change. It will make good sense to share your car with others because costs like registration fees are going to be sky high to discourage people from owning them at all. Some people will begin to do it by themselves out of the goodness of their hearts, while others will wait for the tariffs and price increases. Either way, it’ll probably have happened by the time I die.
9. What are the benefits of sharing things?
Sharing is a way of life and a habit built upon trust. When we share our things, a feeling of credibility and co-operation is aroused that strengthens the relationships.
10. What is your opinion on sharing things?
I think it’s a fundamental need of humans, actually a very special one because it helps make life worth living. We feel happy when we have something to share. We don’t live alone and sharing is a great way to get connected and maintain a sense of well-being.
